The Rest of May
School has kept me very busy this summer. So, as things slow down and before they speed up again for Fall semester, here is a quick update of our summer thus far! We went and checked out the Aquarium with Hollie, Sadie and Sawyer. The kids had a good time listening to the electricty of the electric eel, watching the penguins be fed, and most of all touching the sting rays. It took a lot of persuasion to get Trenton to do it, not to mention about 30 minutes. But as soon as he was brave enough to put his hand in there the stingray kept coming back for more and he touched it about 20 times!

Trenton had his end of the year program, and last program ever, at Challenger! They sang about dinosaurs and each had to tell us what their favorite dinosaur was. All the kids did such a great job. It is bitter sweet that he will be going to Altara. I love the education that he received at Challenger, but just can't afford it anymore. However, we are so excited for him to start going to school with all the kids from the neighborhood and church. He can't wait to be able to play with his friends on the playground, and then have time to play with them at home once homework is done. There is one special friend that he will miss greatly. This is Miss Emily..Trenton's best friend from Challenger. They became such good friends that they started planning their wedding already!
