Some Backyard Fun
Have I mentioned how much we enjoy having a backyard?? I love to be able to send the boys outside to enjoy the day and as they do so I have my choice to go out and play with them or get some chores done in the house. Trenton mastered the monkey bars and Braxton loves his bubbles. I just love my boys!

Horsin' Around
It seems that whenever we are able to get together with Grandma and Grandpa Crawford things always take a turn to the wild! The boys always have so much fun horsing around with Grandpa and playing with Grandma's camera! Here are a few fun shots of the kids enjoying the company of their Grandparents! They are so blessed to have so many Grandparents that love them!

A Very Special 6 Year Old!
This year Trenton got a pretty cool, big birthday party! His birthday fell the day after my graduation, so we decided to combine the two occassions and have a party! Grandma and Grandpa were gracious enough to host the shin dig for the two of us! We had a blast...as usual...whenever we all get together! It was great weather so we were able to spend some time out on the deck and in the backyard. Food, family and fun, it can't get much better than that! Some of the highlights of his gifts were Bakugons, coloring tools, Super Mario Brothers for the DS, and Mario Kart for the Wii. He received a cool moon that lights many different ways to put up in his room and a fun worm in dirt jello kit! I hope you had a great day baby boy. We love you so much and are so grateful you are part of our family. You are a great big brother, and such a good little helper around the house. You love to tell jokes that you have read off wrappers and you are still as cuddly as ever. You always ask to have family movie night and love to spend time with your family. You are such a smart little boy, beyond your years in both reading and math. We are so proud of all you have become and all that you are becoming. Thank you for choosing to be a part of our family...we love you so much!

Red and Blue Fire Dragons
Trenton decided to take advantage of the fact that Dad was not in school or testing for his license this soccer season and asked him to coach his team. Josh was a sport and agreed! It was fun watching the two of them out there together...the time I did get to watch. Having them both out there put me on the sidelines alone with Braxton, not an easy task. Especially since the kid is quicker than some of Trenton's teammates! It was fun to see Trenton have a little bit more confidence this time around and get in the middle of the bunch. He scored his team a goal, as well as a goal for another team one game! Josh tried to come up with the fake out moves for the team, but I think they ended up faking themselves out rather than the other team! Braxton spent a lot of time on the field during warm up and half times. He too is getting to be quite the little soccer player!

Josh decided to take the easy way out when trying to figure out who to put on the sidelines. He would just ask who wanted a water break. Unfortunately, this did not end up being as easy as he thought, anytime he asked the whole team would raise their hands and volunteer to route their team on from the sidelines!

Graduation!
I DID IT! It is still hard for be to believe that I finally got by College Degree. It was a long road, but I am so glad it is done....it only took 13 years from high school graduation...but who is counting? In that time I became a wife and mother, not like I was just messing around! Lots of people ask if I am going to go to work now. The answer....no, I already have a full time job that I would not trade for the world. So why the time and effort? I like to call it my fire insurance. Who knows if I will have to go back to work at some point. I had a fantastic job before I became a full time mom, even without a degree, but now it should be a little easier if the time ever comes. But more importantly, I wanted to finish what I started. I wanted my children to see that anything could be accomplished with some hard work. I hope that they will remember this day, as well as their Daddy's two years ago when they are struggling through school and know they can do it too! I could not have done it without the support and encouragment from my family and friends. So thankful it is all over, and now I can just have fun with my babies during the day and not worry about homework!

My Baby is turning into a Big Boy
So we started some rearranging as of late. We decided it was time to move Braxton into Trenton's room...hoping to make room for another. (no announcement being made!) In any case...we decided to paint, get bunk beds, paint my old bedroom furniture white, and Josh built a window box/storage box for the boys to sit and lounge on. I will have to do another post showing the finished product, but the boys were so excited to have the bunk beds. This was Braxton's first night in his new big boy bed and he loved it! He loves his Spiderman bedding and just looks so cute laying in there. I love to be able to climb in and snuggle and read books. Trenton loves to be on the top bunk. After we say our good nights and Josh and I leave the room, I always hear Trenton say "Goodnight baby boy." He is such a good big brother!

Helping Daddy in the Yard
Spring has sprung...kind of. We finally decided to go out in the front yard and clean up the flower beds so we can see if our annuals will come up this year! Daddy decided to mow the lawn and blow out the flower beds of all the loose dead leaves. Braxton thought it would be fun to help Daddy, that is until he heard the sound the blower made!
