For their first adventure they came across a bridge that they had to cross, and then they had to go up and over a mountain while on their horses!

T-Ball
Trenton is definitely Daddy's boy when it comes to recreational activities. He has shown an interest in sports for some time now, and is finally old enough to play. So, I took him down to the local park and rec center and he had his choice between soccer and t-ball. He chose t-ball!
Today was his first game, and it was pretty dang funny to watch. Heaven bless the coaches that try to teach 10 different 3 year olds the fundamentals of a game. It was total chaos, but they had a good time!
He loves his new "baseball"shirt, hat and glove. He was so excited to go and play.
And then....he got put out on the field! Not so fun waiting for the ball to get hit to you!
He then decided to move a little closer. I guess he figured if he held out the glove, the ball would magically appear in it once the batter hit. It never did happen, and he was too busy playing in the dirt to watch the ball and chase after it!
At least he was still smiling at the end of the game. He does want to go back and play again, so that is a good sign!

6 Years!
It's hard to believe that Josh and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this weekend! Within these 6 years we have moved from CA, almost finished school (with a masters degree), have an adorable little boy, another one on the way, a couple of different jobs each, and are still totally in love with eachother!
Although he thought our night was done there, I suprised him again and took him the the Park City Peak Hotel where I had booked a suite for the night! They had a pool that you could swim from the inside of the building to the outside. That was fun to do as we watched the moon rise. We then enjoyed the luxuries of robes, couches, cable and a heart shape jacuzzi tub right in the room! (I think I enjoyed soaking in that more than he did!)

In celebration of this time, I suprised Josh friday afternoon by picking him up from work and wisking him away to Park City for the night. We walked up old town Main Street in Park City and had an incredible dinner at the Bandit Grill. It was fun to just explore what all the fuss is about up there during the Sundance Festival (other than all the celebrities!)
Here are some fun pics from our wedding day 6 years ago!
And here are some pics of us now.
I must say that I am very blessed to have found such a catch. He spoils me, but not too much, works hard for our family and is the best Daddy! It has been a great 6 years and I look forward to many more!

My Cute Husband
For those of you that don't know, one of Josh's many talents is woodworking. He loves to create furniture, jewelry boxes, and anything else that I ask him to do. Well...he had been asking me for a couple of weeks what I wanted for my birthday, and being the helpful person that I am, I couldn't come up with any ideas.
So this morning I woke up to this cute hand made wooden shadow box that he made with Trenton's little hand and foot that we plastered when he was a baby mounted inside. I LOVE IT! He is always so thoughtful, trying to come up with things that I will always treasure and use. With it he left a note wishing me a happy birthday and instructing me that when I get lonley, sad or frustrated during the day to look at his little "footsie" to bring a smile to my face.
How lucky am I? VERY! I love you Josh!

Oh the Messes we Make
So this weekend I could not push off the urges anymore...I had to start nesting! Josh thought I was crazy and that it was too early...but come on, I only have 9 weeks to go, we are in the single diget count down! It started by getting a new chest of drawers for our room so that we could move our existing one into the boys room to become Trenton's new drawers and the changing table. Cute huh?!?!
Then of course we had to get out all of the old clothes so I could start sifting thru them and figuring out what I have to still buy. (The boys are opposite seasons). This of course turned out to be a bigger mess than I thought it would.
It seems that I have created a lot of laundry for me to do...and I still am not completly sure what I need to go buy!
But all in all I am starting to feel ready. Trenton is getting very excited and asks if Baby Bobo (like Bobo the clown) is big enough to come out yet. Soon I keep telling him. But he has been such a big help. He wanted to choose an outfit for Baby to come home in and he also went to Build a Bear and made his brother a bear that he will bring to the hospital the first time he comes to visit!
Needless to say we are all very excited and and getting antsy for our new addition to arrive!
