Braxton has gone with me to the dentist every six months since he was born. He has gotten in the chair before to go for a ride and let the dentist count his teeth. Today was his first real cleaning and he did so well. He was so excited and wanted to go first (before Trenton or myself)! He first got to inspect all the insturments that would be used on him, he then got to go on a ride in the chair, put on the cool sun glasses and then he just sat back and opened wide! It was funny to see him try to keep himself up on the pillow of the chair. He did not cry or get scared once and said he can't wait until he goes back! I guess it always helps to leave with a goodie bag of things too...even if it is just a toothbrush and toothpaste! Great job Braxty!

Feeding the Ducks
Our neighbor introduced us to a wetland area that is just minutes away from our house. Who knew we had such a treasure close by?? We have enjoyed going over and feeding the ducks, and decided to share the treasure with Grandma, Heather and Nickolas one day after school. We grabbed our stale bread and headed over to find the ducks! We were lucky enough to see the baby ducks as well. The boys had such a good time! I love that just the simple things in life make them so happy!

Happy Birthday Trenton
I can't believe my baby turned 7 this year! Time has flown by so quickly. This year instead of inviting one friend somewhere fun with us to celebrate he decided he wanted a big birthday party at the house. I was able to find a groupon for a bounce house and concession stand, so we went for it! My mister loves angry birds and decided on that for the theme! We had such a great time. We had pizza, a fabulous cake made by our neighbor, homemade ice cream, ice cones, games, pinatas and lots of fun!!!
I was able to find lots of cute ideas on pinterest for the party. I made my own decorations, party sacks and party hats for the kids! They loved them!
Daddy drew this bird for our game "pin the beak on the bird". He was looking at a picture and drew it free hand from that! Great job Daddy...thank you!

Spring Break
Grandma made it possible for us all to go up to This is the Place park to see and hold the baby animals. This only happens for 3 days once a year, and the kids love it every time! Trenton was so good reaching down and softly picking up the animal he wanted. Braxton did a lot better this year, able to hold the baby by himself without squeezing it to death...literally! We can't go there and not have a pony ride! Trenton got a little nervous when his pony decided it needed to take a potty break due to the change in position the pony had to make in order to make it all come out all right! But he ended up being constipated and the handler moved him on before he could take care of his business!
We have missed going to the zoo! It is always a nice couple of hours to go up there and stroll around and see all the different animals. Of course, when Grandma is with us the kids are spoiled rotten! They got all sorts of treats while we were there and made sure to get an ice cream cone before we left. Right when we sat down, Grandma accidentally hit Trenton's cone straight to the floor, ice cream side up. She quickly remedied the situation by getting him another. Trenton was content with his huge ice cream cone, and Braxton took advantage of the cone part that did not hit the ground. He thought he was pretty cool eating two cones, moving from one to the other every other lick or bite!
