Brothers

I am so lucky to have two cute boys that love each other so much. Trenton really does put up with a lot in regards to Braxton and rarely complains about it. He helps him with toys, reads books to him, and even shares his breakfast as I am fixing Braxton's! The other day we were in the car and the following conversation took place:
B: "Brothey....Brothey.....Brothey...."
M: "Trenton, please answer your brother."
T: "What?"
B: "I ov oooo" (I love you)
It brought tears to my eyes and a huge smile to Trenton's face! Now here's to hoping it lasts forever...even through the teenage years!

Braxton

Braxton is my very busy child! He keeps me on my toes and is my baby with no fear! He loves to do whatever his brother is doing...even if that is jumping off the stairs :/ He loves to eat anything he can get his hands on. He says lots of words and is starting to put them together into sentences! He loves to read books and have his belly tickled softly when getting his diaper changed. He loves to play outside and go down slides. He can hardly stand to watch his brother play soccer...he wants so badly to be out on the field with all the big boys and girls. Funny thing is, I think he could dribble the soccer ball better than some of them! He is still small for his age, weighing in at only 21 lbs and in the 4th percentile! I don't understand how that is with as much as he eats...I think he is cute being so small and saying so many words! He loves to take off his jacket and thinks it is pretty funny that he can do it all by himself! He is such a big boy! He brings laughter to our home and we are so grateful for him being in our family!

Swim Lessons

We decided that since we were going on a cruise in June and now have two boys to watch in the pool and on the beach, we would be more comfortable if Trenton was a little bit more self sufficient in the water. So, we signed him up for swimming lessons over at Dimple Dell and he is doing FANTASTIC! He can already float on his back and tummy by himself. He knows the front stroke, back stroke and breast stroke and can do all with assistance. He is also working on his breathing while doing the front stroke. We are so proud of our little fish!
