I have gotten really bad at this whole blog thing. So, let's just play catch up!
Trenton had his last day of school and invited Mommy, Daddy, and Braxton to come enjoy it with him. They had circus days and enjoyed a whole day of circus activities. He got to dress up and even let me put "clown make-up" on him!

While we were there we watched Miss Brenda play silly tricks on Miss Catherine.

Miss Catherine played jump rope, and Miss Eleni tried to do the hool a hoop! The kids each got a turn to walk the tight rope.
They then sang some songs and danced as they sang.
Trenton was pretty sad when it was time to leave because he loves going to school and seeing all his friends. Plus, he knew he would not be attending this Challenger campus again next year due to our move.
But, he perked right up when we went on our last "date" after school and he got to feed Braxton his lunch! Braxton enjoyed what he actually got in his mouth, and of course, Trenton had to see what it tasted like too!

My cute cousin Jenn is having a baby!

So, Hollie and I threw her a baby shower. I love to see the two of them pregnant. Last time we took a picture together was at Jenn's wedding and I was the prego one!

We had a nice get together, the food was yummy and it is always fun to see cute baby girl things!

We are so excited to have Violet Ione join our family!
Braxton turned 8 months old! Our Little Love is able to get around now. He does not do the traditional crawl, but more of an army scoot. He puts his arms in front of him and then drags the rest of his body forward. He loves to try new foods. We have given him some bread, biter biscuits and the little disovable fruit puffs. He sleeps for a good 8-9 hours now on most nights and I am so grateful for that! He is a definate Mommy's boy. He will throw himself towards me when being held by someone else and has the biggest gummiest smile as soon as he sees me. It melts my heart every time!

We have been very busy getting our new home ready for us to move into. My last entry told the story of how we ended up in our new home. We are so grateful to have a bigger place for our family and are so excited to get into it. The front flower bed needed some much needed help, it just had ugly red ground covering on it with a very cut back, none blooming rose bush. So, we tried our hand at a little planting and put some flowers and plants in. We have had comments from the neighbors that it looks the best than it ever has before...not that it was hard to make it look better than the red cover!

In the back I am so excited to have a garden area. A little late in the season, I still wanted to try and get some things planted just to see what happens! So, we have a couple of tomato plants, watermelon, basil, zucinni, oregano, and maybe some pumpkins. To be honest, it looks kind of pathetic when you look at it...but it was a rushed deal trying to just get some things in. Trenton even got in on the garden thing and we got him his own gardening bag with tools. He likes to fill up his water bottle and go out and water the plants for me! This entire planter was just filled with weeds and other odd things. It took us a whole day to get it cleaned out, but we are glad we did it.

Josh has been very busy on his garage. He is so excited to have all of his millions of tools in one place and to be able to come home and work on his hobby of wood work. He has built himself some shelving to help get himself organized and built a workbench for himself as well. He is giving his side of the garage up for this and will have to continue to clean the snow off his car in the winter. Me on the other hand...don't touch my side of the garage...I HATE the snow!

We decided to two tone the entire home, so we have been very busy painting. It has not been an easy task and we will be very happy when it is done. Mom and I picked out paint while she was here and when it went on it was really dark. So, Josh threw some white in it to tone it down a bit and we went to work. It is still a little darker than what a normal two tone would be, but we like it. It feels warm and cozy. Trenton has enjoyed helping the process move along. Braxton has not enjoyed being there everyday, but he does like to get into trouble and tear up the paint tape and rip up the newspaper!

Trenton helped Daddy paint the kitchen and wanted to make sure he didn't get paint on his clothes!

He then wanted to make sure he got a turn to help in his room!

Trenton also had a good time decorating his bathroom. We went to Target to pick up some things and saw they had some cute bathroom decor. So, he went with the Monkey theme and got a cute toothbrush holder, soap dispenser, trash can and bath mat. He loves that he can get up to his sink all on his own.

So needless to say June flew by and we can't believe it is already July. We still have much to do thru this month, but are so excited for what is to come. We can't wait to be in our new home and welcome any visitors that would like to come stay with us. You will have your own room and bathroom!!! It might not have a bed in it yet, but all good things come to those that wait!
