Really???? A half a year has gone by???? WOW!!!! My sweet Little Love is now 6 months old, 16 lbs. 12 oz (40%) and 26" (30%) long! He continues to love to eat. He has has pears, apples, butternut squash, peas, and sweet potatoes! He has not protested to anything that I put in his mouth! He still loves to nurse, and I must admit, I still enjoy our special time together.
Sleep.....yeah right....STILL!! How I have survived thus far I have no idea. Trust me, the rest of the family is feeling the results of my sleepless nights too, and this I am not proud of. But...we are all working on it. There have been a few night that he has slept until 6 or 7 in the morning, but they are few. He is still waking at 2:30 to eat and doc says this is normal. I'm telling you...if there is another little soul up there waiting its turn to come be a part of our family...its big brother is not making it any easier for him/her or very convincing for me!
Braxton does still enjoy his time on the floor. He will lay on the floor and play with toys, watch his Baby Mozart movie and just coo to himself. This does not last very long before he insists on having some attention given, but he enjoys it just the same. Trenton loves to make him laugh, and is a good big brother. There are times he gets a little over the top with it, like when he lays on the baby, but overall he does a really good job.
We love our little Poopstain and are so grateful he is with us!
Tuesday was his first day back to school after his extended Spring Vacation! One of the goals for the three year old class at Challenger is to earn their Alphabet Crown. In order to do this the student must be able to go to the directors (principal) office and identify each letter and tell her what sound it makes all on his own. I was so thrilled when I drove up to pick up Trenton and saw his big Alphabet Crown sitting on top of his head!
I threw the car in park, jumped out screaming, asked if it was what I thought it was (thank goodness it was, otherwise I would have really looked silly), picked him up and threw him in the air as I continued to hoot and holler! The teachers that were helping to load the students in the cars all just started to laugh. Now...let's back up a little bit. About a year ago we went to a Japanese Steak house for a friends birthday and Trenton thought it was so much fun watching them cook right in front of you. Josh then took me again for Valentines Day and when we got home from our date Trenton had asked where we went. After I told him he pulled a sad face and told me he wished that he could go there again. So, back in February I told him that when he earned his alphabet crown we would go there for dinner to celebrate....he has not stopped talking about it since! So...first thing he asked when I was done doing my happy dance was "Can we go to the Japanese Steakhouse for dinner tonight?" Of course! No cooking for me!!! He was so excited...even Daddy skipped class that night to come with us!
Aunt Hollie had asked Trenton if she could come with him when he earned his crown, all of her kids have been

He was a little nervous at first. He tried to get up a couple of times, but with a little bribery and lots of explaining of the tools he actually did really well! He got to wear some cool shades so the light was not too bright for his eyes. He was shown "Mr. Thirsty", the

I love to go to Ruby's! Of course, with Grandma being there, the boys each got a shake to go with their lunch. Trenton enjoyed his strawberry one, and Nickolas enjoyed his chocolate shake so much that he was not very happy when Mommy took it away because he was trying to eat it with a fork!
Nick came over a little early to pick up Nickolas and they dyed their Easter eggs with Heather. It was funny to watch Nickolas just throw the egg into the dye and then want to take it out right away. As usual, as long as Braxton feels like he is part of the festivities...he is just happy to be there!
Later that night we went over to Amber and Dre's house to hang out there for a while. They were getting ready to head out to Amber's parents place in Palm Springs, so when Bunny and Dale showed up to pick them up, they issued the invitation for us to follow the next day. So...
Of course, being as creative as Am is, she had lots of activities planned for the boys for the rest of the days. Trenton, Aidan and Jackson all got to make an eggs nest out of play-dough and sticks that we had gone to collect. They actually all turned out really cute and the boys loved it. Braxton was to interested in all that was going on that as long as he could see what was happening at the table he was content!
After Jackson and Braxton fell asleep, Trenton and Aidan then moved on to dying and painting some eggs. They were so creative and had such a good time together. They did so well sharing the dye and paint together. They then moved on to making sugar cookies, but I don't think very many of them made it into the oven. As soon as the boys placed the dough on the 
That night after the boys had gone to bed Heather and I started to get Easter baskets ready for the Easter Bunny to hide! Just as we were headed downstairs, the entire neighborhood blacked out. So, Dad pulled out all the flashlights and the fun began for us. The Easter bunny had bought big marshmallows shaped like bunnies to go in the baskets. So, Heather decided to play Chubby Bunny. It was so funny to see her stuff these bunnies into her big mouth! She got 19 of them in there! And for some reason the fact that it was dark just made the whole thing funnier! After she spit them out I went hopping around looking for places to hide things! It felt like we were silly teenagers again!
Easter Sunday started first thing with the searching of baskets! Since Nickolas was with Nick this year for Easter, Trenton was on his own to find his basket as well as Braxton's!
It was fun to follow him around as he looked high and low. It did not take him very long to find what he was looking for, and as soon as he did, he dumped his whole basket on the floor to make sure he had seen everything that was in it.
The Easter bunny has changed since I was a kid. I remember a basket full of candy...loved it! For some reason now, the Easter bunny has added a few toys to the basket of candy! Trenton was so excited to have received a Bakugan, a movie, and some new shoes.
Later that morning I took the boys over to Aunt Suzette's house for brunch with the Crawford's. This was the first time that a lot of them had met Braxton. We enjoyed a nice big breakfast and some nice visiting time with the family. It is not often that children not only get to know their grandparents, but their great grandparents, and in my boys case, even a great great grandmother!
Trenton had fun blowing bubbles with Grandma and Grandpa and Braxton loved all the attention.
When we got home Nick was just getting back to Grandma's with Nickolas so Heather, Nick and I went out front and hid all the eggs for the boys to do their Easter egg hunt. 
It was fun watching Trenton and Nickolas look all over the yard for them. Braxton and Grandpa enjoyed just hanging together and watching!
On Monday Heather and I shoved the boys in the back of Mom's car and headed to the Long Beach Aquarium. Heather has a friend that works there and was kind enough to get us in. Amber, Aidan and Jackson met us there.
The boys enjoyed watching the walrus swim right past them in the tank. They reached into the sting ray pool to touch them...but I dont think any of them actually reached down far enough to feel them, but they had fun playing in the water non the less.
The best part of the day was when we went into the huge walk in cage where birds are flying free. Amber hates birds and it seemed that whenever they decided to fly across to the other side they made sure to go right past her head. She was so scared she was going to get pooped on she tried to hide under the stroller sun shield. She had finally had enough and headed for the door, stooping the whole way there! I am laughing even as I type this remembering it!
Tuesday was a pretty laid back day. Heather and I took the boys to Target and Wal-Mart and did a little browsing. We then headed out to Fontana with Mom and Dad to get some free pizza at a Shakey's that our cousin Chucky was opening. We saw Uncle Chuck and Aunt Judy there as well as Chuck's son Craig and his family, and Randy and his family. It was fun and the food was good.
We went on Monsters Inc. and saw the Playhouse Disney show. Nick was nice enough to come and save us when he got off work. It was much easier having an adult for each child, although Nick usually had two at a time!
Nickolas was so tired that he fell asleep holding a piece of sourdough bread we had gotten from that tour. He was trying so hard to not sleep that he would raise his eyebrows just to try and keep his eyes open...it was great!
As he slept we went into the It's A Bugslife Land and rode all the rides with Trenton. We rode the caterpillar ride, the bumper cars, and even the spinning ladybug ride. I thought I was going to throw up on that one, Trenton was laughing so hard that he had to hold onto my leg cause he couldn't keep himself up.
The boys did so well and we ended up staying until the park closed!
Thursday was finally a day of rest. All the boys were so tired that we actually got them all to take a nap at the same time and they were down for probably about 2 hours. Mom, Heather and I caught up on the shows from the week and enjoyed the piece and quiet. Everyday Mom has to do her excercises to help her regain movement in her toes after her surgury. One of these exercises is picking up marbles with her toes and putting them back in the mug. The boys enjoyed helping Grandma with this every morning!
When we got home the boys took another deserved nap and then I was able to take Trenton and Braxton over to Grandma and Grandpa Crawford's house for a few hours. They were kind enough to keep the boys for me so I could go back to Mom's and do some laundry and pack. (Josh called while I was gone and told me that the washer would not drain and I was coming home to a broken washing machine...so I tried to go home with clean clothes!) Trenton had a great time watching Fox and the Hound for the first time, having yummy turkey dinner, and playing clay with Grandpa. He was so excited to go over and was even more excited for me to leave! Braxton had a good time trying to drink water from a water bottle and had soaked all his clothes!
