LadyBug Infestation!

Yesterday Trenton learned about Lady Bugs at school. He drew a picture of one at school and then came home and taught me how to draw one. For most of the rest of the day he continued to sit and draw Lady Bugs. So....now as I type he is going to tell me all about Lady Bugs!

Um..the Lady Bugs have hard shells. They are red, and their bodies are black. They have special wings, special under wings, special um....Miss Eleni has a hand puppet Lady Bug. We drawed art for Lady Bugs and we learned about Lady Bugs. They crawl with their legs and if you keep them they fly away. They eat all the bugs and so the bugs wont eat all the plants. So the bugs wont eat all the Lady Bugs so the plants will be beautiful. Lady bugs find their special home...and they wont bite people, they are really nice. They need to find their home outside and they do whatever they want to do. And they like to go to school, but they can't go to school.

He tried to continue...but then I asked him to explain to me how to draw them. These are his instructions:

You draw a big black circle. Draw spots and a line, and it's head. Spots, and it's legs and you draw it red.So...there you have it, Lady Bugs 101. Most of the pictures that he put up on the wall have Lady Bugs drawn on the back as well. As he was hanging them he explained to me that now our house was going to be beautiful and talked about how much Daddy was going to love it when he came home! Our sweet little boy and his amazing mind! How I love him.
