Coco Cay

One of the very first things we had to go check out on the ship was the Kids Club! Trenton loved hanging out there. They had activities for kids all day and night including face painting, parades, coloring, games, etc. Whenever he had the chance he wanted to go hang out there. It was closed the first day on the ship, and the second day we were at Coco Cay. Because this island is a private island, they had the kids club open out on the beach. So, as you will see, most of these pictures are of Braxton because Trenton was too cool to be with his family for most of the day!
This was actually Braxton's first time being able to get down and play in the sand and ocean water. We had visited the beach before in California, but it was too cold to play in the water. He had so much fun. He was a little hesitant at first, but by the end was loving it!

I showed him what the sand was and that it was soft when not wet and what it felt like when it was wet. He did not want to touch it at first, but before long he was making sure he was telling me all about it!

Oh look who finally decided we were cool enough to hang out with! Actually, he only came to be with us because for safety reasons the kids club did not take them into the water. So when he decided it was time to swim then he came to play!

What kid does not eat dirt (or sand) sometime in his childhood?

Braxton was pretty tired by the end of the day. We layed down to see if I could get him to fall asleep on me for a bit....but nope....too much going on!

As we were headed back towards the ship we saw these HUGE gecko's creeping up on some of the islanders that were lounging in their chairs. Of course we were fascinated, and there response to us was "This is the Bahama's, what do you expect?" Well obviously not huge lizards creeping up on people looking like they were about to take a bite out of you!
